Fan favorite competitor Tula “Big T” Fazakerley is retiring from being a contestant on MTV’s The Challenge and is going to cooking school.
Fans of MTV’s The Challenge will be disappointed to hear that Tula “Big T” Fazakerley is retiring from the show after competing for four seasons. The 29-year-old London native competed in The Challenge: Spies, Lies & Allies, which is currently airing on MTV, but has never made it to the finals for the competition.
Tula first appeared on British MTV on Shipwrecked: Battle of the Islands 2019. Though she’s not physically intimidating, clocking in at only 5’3″, the “big” in “Big T” comes from her determination, intelligence and fearlessness. Tula went on to compete in The Challenge in four seasons: War of the Worlds 2, Total Madness, Double Agents, and Spies, Lies & Allies, and became a fan favorite due to her fun and fiery personality. While Big T didn’t last long on War of the Worlds 2, she made it through 16 episodes on both Double Agents and Spies, Lies & Allies. She was medically disqualified from the competition during Total Madness after she cut her foot at the house while drunk and needed stitches.
Tula continued: “…I will keep training and pushing my self , as tj says “always stay ready “ . Thank you to all of the viewers. I’m not exactly used to people believing in me so thank you for your love. These are magical moment that will stay with me forever . Please don’t forget me and once I conquer the kitchen, hopefully I’ll be back in your screens. Please remember to love first , don’t give a toot what anyone thinks or says about you . And like me , follow your dreams (if I can do 4 season of the challenge , so can you ) don’t underestimate yourself ever .”
Other The Challenge alums commented on her post. Hughie Maughan, who also appeared on Spies, Lies & Allies, wrote, “I’m so proud to know such an amazing girl thank you so much big t for taking the time to get to let me get to know you.” One of the remaining Spies, Lies & Allies contestants, Amanda Garcia, also commented, “Good luck sister can’t wait to see you thrive on your next journey! “
