1 injured after vehicle crashes into Portage Park home

One person was injured after a vehicle crashed into a building Sunday morning in Portage Park on the Northwest Side.

A vehicle crashed into the basement of a building in the 4400 block of North Austin Avenue, according to Chicago fire officials.

One person was transported to Luthern General Hospital in Park Ridge in serious to critical condition, fire officials said.

At least six people were displaced by the incident.
