Man charged after ATM damage spree

A man has been charged after allegedly going on a damaging spree of ATMs across multiple Perth suburbs.

The 41-year-old man from Huntingdale allegedly damaged multiple bank ATMs from December 13 to 30 in various suburbs including Booragoon, Canning Vale, Rockingham and South Perth.

The man also allegedly stole money from some of the ATMs during his crime spree.

He has been charged with multiple offences including stealing, possession of drugs and smoking paraphernalia.

He is expected to appear in Perth Magistrates Court later today.
