I am thrilled and honored to be sharing stages with them this fall. This is one for the history books, folks.” Bassist Jay Bentley adds, “that we’re both still making music and touring the world is a testament to the staying power of SoCal punk rock.”

During the 2024 shows, Social Distortion plans to perform their 1983 debut album, “Mommy’s Little Monster,” in its entirety, marking a belated celebration of its 40th anniversary. Frontman Mike Ness says, “this should be a very special tour, and we are all looking forward to it.”

In an update on his health, Ness, who revealed earlier this year that he was diagnosed with throat cancer, continues to share his condition through Instagram posts. Before the diagnosis, Social Distortion was in the process of recording their eighth studio album, which is expected to resume production at some point next year.
