“Times Square Turmoil: Teen Arrested in Connection with Migrant Shelter Brawl and Stabbing”
A teenager, aged 17, has been apprehended in connection with a Migrant Shelter Brawl chaotic brawl that escalated into a stabbing incident outside a migrant shelter near Times Square earlier this year, as confirmed by law enforcement officials.

The individual in question faces charges of gang assault and assault stemming from the altercation on February 22, during which another 17-year-old sustained a stab wound.
In accordance with legal protocols, the identity of the charged teenager is being withheld due to their status as a minor.
Prior to this arrest, 22-year-old Michael Colome had been taken into custody, alongside two 14-year-old boys and three 16-year-old boys. All six individuals were charged with offenses including gang assault, assault, and possession of weapons.
The confrontation erupted in the vicinity of the Candler Building, a former office structure repurposed as a migrant shelter.
During Colome’s arraignment in February, prosecutors portrayed the incident as a harrowing assault involving 23 individuals targeting the victim, indicative of an ongoing and violent feud between rival factions.
Amidst the chaos, one of the participants brandished a knife, chasing down approximately a dozen others before ultimately thrusting the blade into the victim’s back.
Following the attack, the victim was transported to Bellevue Hospital, where he received medical attention and was reported to be in stable condition.
