On Sunday afternoon at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Jason and Kylie Kelce showed up to support Travis. Jason sported a red shirt along with Chiefs-themed overalls, while Kylie, a self-proclaimed Eagles fan, stood firm on her decision not to wear any Kansas City gear.
“I mean, I just can’t do it,” Kelce expressed to USA Today Sports. “I will cheer on Travis every single day of the week, forever. But I won’t wear Chiefs stuff.”
Despite the Eagles’ early exit from the postseason, Kylie attended the Chiefs’ divisional playoff game and the AFC Championship Game. Her attire, though red, did not align with Kansas City themes. Her red shirt seemed to be from the Kelce brothers’ “New Heights” podcast, and the sweatshirt featured the Cincinnati Bearcats logo.
Both Jason and Travis played college football at Cincinnati, while Kylie attended Cabrini University, located approximately 25 miles from the Eagles’ home stadium. Kylie playfully hinted that her Super Bowl outfit would likely lean towards representing the podcast or the Bearcats.
“I’m not an aesthetic girly. I do not plan my outfits ahead of time,” Kelce humorously remarked. “So, I would imagine that I will go back in the direction of either New Heights podcast or Cincinnati.” The Kelce family continues to navigate the unique situation of having members play for different teams in the NFL, maintaining a sense of humor and camaraderie through their diverse allegiances.
