Analyzing global search volumes, the study found that being a pilot is the most coveted dream job, with the query “how to become a pilot” searched 50,000 times as of January 2024, leading in 55 countries. Modeling, however, takes the top spot across Europe, including countries like France, Italy, Sweden, and Germany.

The study also explores average salaries for these dream jobs in the United Kingdom and the United States, highlighting that financial gain isn’t the sole factor in defining a dream job.
